CraveShield Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your CraveShield account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it and exactly what is removed.

How to Delete Your Account

From inside the CraveShield app:

Open the CraveShield app.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm when prompted.

This action is permanent and immediate. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data are erased right away and cannot be recovered. There is no grace period and no way to undo the deletion.

What Data Is Deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes everything we hold, with no retention period:

Account credentials — your email and authentication record
Profile — display name and profile details
Streaks — your clean date, days strong, and progress history
Craving logs — every craving you have recorded
Milestones — unlocked achievements and recovery milestones
Personal shield content — your photos, quotes, and support contacts
Settings — all preferences and app configuration

Nothing is archived, backed up, or retained after deletion.

No Longer Have App Access?

If you cannot open the app to delete your account yourself, email us and we will delete your account and all associated data manually:

Please send your request from the email address associated with your CraveShield account so we can verify ownership.
